UBJECT: ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR TRACT NO. 6055, LOCATED AT 1800 TAPO CANYON ROAD
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
I
t is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2024-01 (page 3) accepting public improvements for Tract No. 6055, located at 1800 Tapo Canyon Road.
BACKGROUND AND OVERVIEW
The
requested action provides City Council approval for the acceptance of the public improvements for Tract No. 6055 . These improvements consist of a new public sewer, storm drain, landscaping, and street improvements. Tract No. 6055 (Attachment A – Location Map, page 4) is comprised of five industrial buildings on an 18.053-acre site located at 1800 Tapo Canyon Road. The developer of the tract is SR QR Tapo Canyon Owner, LLC.

he tentative map for Tract No. 6055 was approved by the Planning Commission on March 3, 2021, by Resolution No. SVPC 04-2021. The final map for Tract No. 6055 was accepted by the City Council on September 13, 2021. The final map was recorded on September 27, 2021, in Book 169, Pages 88 through 90, of Miscellaneous Records.
FINDINGS AND ALTERNATIVES

ased on staff's inspection of the project, the Public Works Director/ City Engineer finds that the public improvements constructed for Tract No. 6055 are acceptable.

1. Adopt Resolution No. 2024-01 accepting public improvements for Tract No. 6055, located at 1800 Tapo Canyon Road,

SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL MOTION
I move that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2024-01 accepting public improvements for Tract No. 6055, located at 1800 Tapo Canyon Road.
SUMMARY
The p ublic improvements for Tract No. 605 5 have been inspected and found to be acceptable to the City Engineer. It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2024-01 accepting public improvements for Tract No. 6055, located at 1800 Tapo Canyon Road.

RESOLUTION NO. 2024-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SIMI VALLEY ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
FOR TRACT NO. 6055 , LOCATED AT 1800 TAPO CANYON
ROAD
WHEREAS, on September 13, 2021, the City Council approved the final map, improvement securities, and agreement for Tentative Tract No. 6055, located at 1800 Tapo Canyon Road; and
WHEREAS, on September 27, 2021, said final map was recorded in Book 169, Pages 88 through 90, of Miscellaneous Records of the County of Ventura; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer's Office has recommended acceptance of the Public Improvements for public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIMI VALLEY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1
. The City Council accepts all the p ublic improvements constructed for Tract No. 6055.
SECTION 2. The City Council exonerates all faithful performance bonds for Tract No. 6055, except the grading and warranty bonds.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause a certified resolution to be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 8th day of January 2024.
