SUBJECT: AWARD OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SIMI VALLEY AND AXON ENTERPRISE, INC., THROUGH A SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE
CONTRACT AND APPROVAL OF SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET
REQUESTS IN THE CONTINGENCY FUND (FUND 122) AND THE
FORFEITED ASSETS FUND (FUND 280)
Subsequent to the release of the agenda packet for the August 19, 2024, City Council Meeting, an erro r was found in the alternatives available to the City Council and a fifth alternative was inadvertently omitted.
Alternative No. 4 should read:
Approve a second Supplemental Budget Request in the Forfeited Assets Fund (Fund 280) in the amount of $55,000 for contracted lead removal/recovery at the Police Department Training Facility (shooting range).
Alternative No. 5 should read:
Do not award a contract or a supplemental budget request at this time and provide staff with further direction.
