7. Why are you interested in serving on the COA Executive Board? I’m interested in serving on the Council On Aging Executive Board to continue to give back to the community. I have participated in classes and events at the Senior Center throughout the years. Prior to the pandemic, the Council On Aging meetings were filled to almost capacity of the double room, but now, only a handful of participants attend the meetings. I feel this Board is a vital component of the Senior Center and needs to be regenerated. The participation of the general membership should be developed and improved to make it more active, successful and important to the organization.
