CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Brown called the Regular meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber, 1644 Oak Street, Solvang, California.

Mayor Brown spoke about attending the Santa Barbara Associated Governments meeting, the North County Subregional meeting, the Veterans Day celebration and a workshop for REACH and the Coast Rail California Council (CRCC); reported participating in a Zoom meeting with Cal Cities for Councilmembers and Mayors.

Motion by Councilmember Elizabeth Orona to approve Consent Items, as presented, seconded by Councilmember Infanti, and carried 5-0.

7. PUBLIC HEARINGS
a. A Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of an Ordinance of the City of Solvang to Amend Title 10 of the Solvang Municipal Code, Adopting and Amending Codes Comprising the 2025 California Building Standards Code; and
Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Solvang Setting Forth Findings in Support of Amendments to the above referenced codes; and
Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Solvang to Ratify an Ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Barbara Adopting and Amending the 2025 California Fire Code

Mayor Brown opened the public hearing and invited public comments.
There were no public comments, and Mayor Brown closed the public hearing.

Motion by Councilmember Elizabeth Orona, to approve the Santa Ynez Valley (SYV) Regional Community Connector Project (River Trail) Funding Request for $30,000, seconded by Mayor pro tem Claudia Orona, and carried 5-0.
c. Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) Direction to Staff
Report provided by Community Development Director Castillo.
