CALL TO ORDER
The Special Joint meeting of the City Council, Housing Authority, Successor Agency, Utility Authority, Public Finance Authority and Public Access Corporation was called to order by Maria del Pilar Avalos, Mayor/ Chairperson at 5:00 p.m.

1 LEGAL OPERATIONS The City Council of the City of South Gate ("City"), the South Gate Housing Authority, Successor Agency to the Community Development Commission of the City of South Gate, the South Gate Utility Authority, the South Gate Public Finance Authority, and the South Gate Public Access Authority (collectively, the "City Related Agencies") unanimously approved items A & B by motion of Vice Mayor/Vice Chairperson Hurtado and seconded by
Council/Agency/Authority Member/Board Director Davila:
a. Approving Amendment No. 7 to Contract No. 2163 approving the substitution of the law firm of Frost Brown Todd, LLP to provide legal services to the City and the City Related Agencies, with Raul Salinas continuing to serve as the City Attorney for the City and Legal Counsel for each of the City Related Agencies; and
b. Authorizing the Amendment No. 7 to be executed by the Mayor of the City of South Gate and Chair of each City Related Agency.

a. The Special Joint City Council & South Gate Utility Authority Meeting minutes of June 28, 2022;
b. The Special Joint City Council, Housing Authority, & Successor Agency Meeting minutes of June 28, 2022, August 29, 2022 & August 30, 2022;
c. The Special Joint City Council & Housing Authority Meeting minutes of August 23, 2022; and
d. The Special Joint City Council, Housing Authority, Successor Agency, South Gate Utility Authority, Public Finance Authority & Public Access Corporation Meeting minutes of December 8, 2022 & December 13, 2022.
ROLL CALL: Mayor/Chairperson Avalos, yes; Vice Mayor/Vice Chairperson Hurtado, yes; Council/Agency/Authority Member Board Director Barron, yes (abstained on A, B and C); Council/Agency/Authority Member Board Director Davila, yes; Council/Agency/Authority Member Board Director Rios, yes.
ADJOURNMENT
Council/Agency/Authority Member/Board Director Barron unanimously adjourned the meeting at 5:07 p.m. and seconded Vice Mayor/Vice Chairperson Hurtado.
