CALL TO ORDER Maria del Pilar Avalos, Mayor called a Special City Council Meeting to order at 1:10 p.m.

PRESENT Mayor Maria del Pilar Avalos, Vice Mayor Gil Hurtado, Council Member Maria Davila, and Council Member Al Rios; City Treasurer Jose De La Paz, City Manager Chris Jeffers
LATE Council Member Joshua Barron arrived at 1:12 p.m.
City Attorney Raul F. Salinas
CLOSED SESSION The Council Members recessed into Closed Session at 1:12 p.m. and reconvened at 4:24 p.m. witli all Members of Council present. City Attorney Salinas reported the following:

Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957(b)(1)
a. City Manager
On item I(a), the City Council considered the employment of a public employee the position of City Manager was discussed. There were presentations and upon completion of those presentations, guidance was given, but there was no reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT Council Member Rios unanimously adjourned the meeting at 4:25 p.m. and seconded by Council Member Barron.
