MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2023
CALL TO ORDER Maria del Pilar Avalos, Mayor called a Special City Council Meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.

PRESENT Mayor Maria del Pilar Avalos, Vice Mayor Hurtado, Council Member Joshua Barron, and Council Member Al Rios; City Treasurer Jose De La Paz, City Manager Chris Jeffers, City Attorney Raul F. Salinas ABSENT/EXCUSED Council Member Maria Davila, Yodit Glaze, City Clerk 1 WATER The City Council approved items A, B, C & D by motion of Vice Mayor Hurtado seconded by Mayor Avalos:
a. Received a report on options to address water customer bills; b. Give direction to staff on Option 2 along with any criteria to qualify for any billing adjustment;
c. Authorized the Director of Administrative Services to approve the disbursement of funds to qualifying water customers and appropriating the necessary funds from the Water Fund to implement the preferred option selected by the City Council; and
d. Directed the Director of Administrative Services to file a report with the City Council on the total cost of the Water Bill Reimbursement Credit Program within 12 months.
ROLL CALL: Council Member Barron, yes; Council Member Davila, excused; Council Member Rios, yes; Vice Mayor Hurtado, yes; Mayor Avalos, yes.
ADJOURNMENT Vice Mayor Hurtado adjorirned the meeting at 5:44 p.m. and seconded by Council Member Rios.
