c. Southern California Edison Company vs Various Counties On item 2(a), the city received a report with respect to a potential resolution on that matter. The vote was 4-1, with Council Member Rios abstaining from that decision.

Item 2(b) involves a car versus car accident on Tweedy Boulevard near TrubaAvenue in the year 2024. After a presentation by the City Attorney, the City Council made a motion to retain counsel to defend that matter.

The motion was made by Councilwoman Davila and seconded by Council Member Hurtado and the vote was 5-0.

Item 2(c) is a claim by Southern California Edison against the State Board of Equalization including several counties and cities in the state. There was a motion made by Vice Mayor Rios not to intervene in the action but to monitor the case very closely and seconded by Mayor Barron. The vote was 5-0 to agree with Vice Mayor Rios' motion.
