City Council Strategic Plannnig Retreat
Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.

Mayor Wallace read the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California Land Acknowledgement.
Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance
Mayor Wallace Called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m., then led the pledge of allegiance.
Roll Call
Present were Mayor Wallace, Mayor Pro Tem Bass, and Councilmembers Robbins, Jinkens and Roberts.
Also present were City Manager Irvin, City Attorney Stroud, City Clerk Blankenship, and Assistant City Manager Roverud

Public Communications
Public Comment was heard from the following people:
1. Duane Wallace- Measure T (uphold court decision)
2. Lauren Gresh, RNR Vacation Rentals- Meaure T (uphold court decision)
3. Rick Curry- Meaure T (uphold court decision)
4. Caleb Fry- Meaure T (uphold court decision)
5. Stacey Ballard- Survey results from the strategic plan item packet, making accessibllity a top priority in the strategic plan
6. Mike Tincher- Measure T (uphold court decision)
7. Ayana Morali- Dedicated funding for housing stream
8. Duggan Smith- Meaure T (uphold court decision)
9. Annabelle Younana- Measure T (uphold court decision) Regular- New Business
1. Strategic Plan Retreat
Action: Particpated in a facilitated discussion to develop the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, and provided direction on city policies, goals, and action items to be worked on during the next five years. The Strategic Plan will come back to Council on April 22 for final adoption.

Mayor Wallace adjourned the Meeting at 5:23 p.m.
