I want to be a member because I love getting involved in the community where I live. I 'd like to contribute a different perspective to the collective since I am involved in many groups. I am involved in the Filipino community, LGBTQ Community, Catholic community, and in my neighborhood. I am currently a public service employee with City and County of San Francisco as a mental health crisis specialist. I am vocal, opinionated, and would like to volunteer my experiences to the community I love. *
I live and do lots of volunteer work for San Mateo County. Everyone wanting to make a positive impact in our city should have that opportunity. I've been board president for Colina HOA for 4 years and have learned a lot about community building. There are so many moving parts and every piece of the machine needs to work to create something great. I'd like to take what I've learned and apply it to a larger population. *
I have not attended any meetings in person, however I have read what Minutes and Agenda have been available online for the following: Park & Rec up to Oct. 2020 (last avail), Cultural Arts up to Dec 10, 2020 (last avail), Measure W COC up to October 2018 (last avail), Planning Commission up to January 16, 2020 (last avail), Traffic Safety Commission up to February 9, 2021, and Racial and Social Equity up to January 25, 2021 (last avail). *

I am a Disaster Mental Health and Psychological First Aid trainer. I am also very involved in the LGBTQ community in San Mateo County. I am part of the Advisory Board for the San Mateo County Filipino Mental Health Initiative. I ride my motorcycle through South San Francisco streets on a regular basis. I am a avid camper and cross country road tripper. I am a Mother to 3 dogs and will be a first time Auntie in a few weeks. I am also a musician and a filmmaker in my leisure time. *
I don't have a personal vision for growth in South San Francisco. South San Francisco has been taking initiative on things before the public even asks. Whatever South San Francisco is currently doing, its well received. South San Francisco has been doing a lot of good work already and I want to be part of it. *

If the City Council determines that the absences occurred for legitimate reasons, the City Council may excuse both or one of the absences. Members are also encouraged to give advanced notice of their absence from meetings.
