Support
Dear Mayor and Councilmembers,
I am writing in support of putting an Article 34 measure on this fall's ballot. There are many hypothetical projects that Article 34 allocations can be used on and there are many ways for council to increase the financial viability of these projects, such as parking reductions, fee waiving, etc, but without an enabling ballot measure we will not be able to pursue any of them. If we enter a recession over the next year, passing such a measure will give us options to house vulnerable community members, provide revenue stability to the city, and keep our local trades working.
Thank you for your time,
Roderick
