Throughout my high school years, I've noticed many of my peers struggling to understand topics in their class and, thus, not being able to perform at their potential. I would recommend to the school district/city council to form an in-person tutoring center at middle and high schools, as that is when students start developing study habits. Another issue in SSF academia is the lack of financial support for high school testing. I've seen a few classmates hesitant to register for the SAT more than once because of financial risks. To solve this, I would suggest the school district pay for the SAT for SSFUSD students, as many aren't able to.
