Why are you interested in serving as a Boards and Commissions member? What do you feel you could contribute?
I am a long-time resident of South San Francisco. I believe I could bring to the Board or Commission some perspective from a city resident on the housing matters that impact SSF.
What qualifies you for this appointment?
I have a long history of employment in external auditing and in financial accounting in the affordable housing nonprofit industry. I believe I have the experience and expertise in reading and evaluating financial matters as they relate to housing projects which are authorized or undertaken by the city government.
What is your vision for growth in South San Francisco?
I believe the vibrancy and economic health of the city of South San Francisco is best served by a balanced growth in commercial and residential development (with a healthy component of affordable housing) in the coming years.

Why are you interested in serving as a Boards and Commissions member? What do you feel you could contribute?
As a long-time resident of South San Francisco, I believe input from a resident who has been a user of the Peninsula Library system could be useful to board deliberations What qualifies you for this appointment?
Other than serving as treasurer of The Friends of the Western Philatelic Library (Redwood City) I do not have any experience relating to detailed aspects of library operations. However i am a long-term patron of the SSF library at its prior location, and I am an avid consumer of the libary offerings (CDs of movies, operas and audio books).
What is your vision for growth in South San Francisco?
South San Francisco appears to be doing a terrific job in maintaining the level of services to its residents while encouraging growth in commercial and residential developments.
Residents should maintain awareness and participate in activities which ensure that balance is maintained for the occasional conflicting demands of its constituencies. 2 The City of South San Francisco
