Subject: Comment on proposed digital billboard
[NOTICE: This message originated outside of City of South San Francisco -- DO NOT CLICK on links or open attachments unless you are sure the content is safe.] Hello planning commission, I just viewed the proposal for the new digital billboard in South San Francisco and I would like to put in an official comment. I do not think the city of South San Francisco needs more digital signs along the freeway as there is a sufficient amount of signs in place currently. The benefit of these digital signs do not outweigh the eyesore and detriment to the overall beauty of the city. The city is not in need of these additional revenues, so I recommend that we do not move forward with additional digital signs. I realize that there has not been any public comments on this but I believe that is because of a lack of visibility, and not because people do not share my sentiment, as was heard directly from the design committee.
