I have always worked to be an active and productive member of society and more specifically the city of South San Francisco. As a Boards and Commission member I can bring another, younger perspective to the council. I have a healthy appreciation of the present but believe and appreciate the past and our traditions. I am often a vocal and passionate team member and want to be part of the work to bring the next iteration of South City.

Along with having years of various leadership opportunities I currently serve as a member of the Measure W oversight committee and attend as many events that our city hosts. In addition, I have a passion and interest in serving this community. In addition, I have done the research and participated in the Citizen Academy. I understand what I am signing myself up for. I have roots here and continue to be motivated to live by Ghandi’s words of “be[ing] the change that I want to see in the world.” I am also excited and willing to contribute to my hometown.

My vision for South San Francisco is keeping and understanding old traditions but building towards an even more diverse cutting edge future. My hope is that South City continues to be a leader in diversity (race, gender, family types, etc) all while maintaining the ideals of safety and family forward city that puts its citizens first. It means working with current trends and technology but keeping the heart of our community, its people as the focus.
