Why are you interested in serving as a Boards and Commissions member? What do you feel you could contribute?
I love South City and equity and public safety is important to me. I am a South City Native, Property Owner, Former Landlord, The Mission Road Condo HOA Board Member, and Current Member of The SSF CAC (Community Advisory Committee) for Anti-Displacement Strategies. Former Medical Assistant with direct patient care in Pediatrics and with underserved (predominantly unhoused) communities of San Francisco's Mission District.
One that communicates compassion and dedication to serving others through volunteering with geriatric populations, and hospice patients. I am a Registered Nurse, that holds a Public Health Certification that can contribute my strong work ethic, utilize my interdisciplinary approach, team-oriented style, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
What qualifies you for this appointment?
SSF Native/Local: I was Raised in SSF and am a lifelong SSF Resident. Graduate of Police Explorers Academy in High School. Property Owner in SS since 05/2012 (District 1- Sunshine Gardens neighborhood). home-grown Office Manager for a Pediatric Clinic (hired, trained new staff, and built teams to foster collaborative team morale, designed, and implemented cost effective and efficient improvements to office protocols). Currently serve as The Mission Road Homeowner's Association Board Member. Currently serve as a Member of The SSF CAC (Community Advisory Committee) for Anti-Displacement Strategies. Hold Public Health Registered Nurse Certification.
Experience with Underserved Communities: Mission Neighborhood Resource center (predominate populations that we served are mainly unhoused, suffering from drug abuse and or mental illness, LGBTQ community. Per diem AN, PHN (serving geriatric populations at: San Mateo Medical Center- Ron Robinson Senior Care Center), and a nonprofit respite care clinic in HMB- utilizes an interdisciplinary approach: Nursing, Nutrition, PT, Social Work etc. Long-Term SF Kaiser Hospice Volunteer.
What is your vision for growth in South San Francisco?
Supporting innovation through provision of oppurtunity (work/living wages, affordable housing/landownership, childcare options, accessible transportation) while ensuring the safety of residents and the protection of historical components that make South City wonderfully vibrant, and diverse.

Volunteer, San Francisco Kaiser Hospice, San Francisco, CA (1,440 hours) Supported and offered companionship for terminally ill patients and their families Mayoral Certificate of Honor awarded by the late San Francisco Mayor Edwin M. Lee on July 1, 2011, honoring m volunteer work with SF Kaiser Hospice.
