1. Motion to approve the Minutes for the meeting of April 2, 2024.
Motion – Councilmember Coleman/ Second Councilmember Nicolas: to approve the minutes. The motion carried unanimously.
2. Study session to review Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications and Program Year 2025-2026 budget allocation. (Alvina Condon, Management Analyst II) Management Analyst Condon presented the report, requested review of grant applications, and direction in preparation for the needs assessment hearing.
Economic Community Development Director Selander reviewed the funding expectations, timeline, and qualifications. She also indicated contingencies can be included to address the potential need for alternative sources of funding.
The Standing Committee reviewed the applications, engaged in questions and discussions, and provided feedback to staff.
ADJOURNMENT
Being no further business, Councilmember Nicolas adjourned the meeting at 4:21 p.m.
