Please be advised that the City of South San Francisco, its Police/Sheriff Department, its officers, deputies, agents, contractors and their subcontractors, consultants, and security staff (collectively, the "City/ County"), are authorized to enter and be upon the private property and rights-of-way of Union Pacific Railroad Company, for the purpose of enforcing criminal trespass statutes and/or ordinances, including but not limited to California Penal Code Section 602(o), and the towing of abandoned or illegally parked vehicles, where such violations are committed against the Company or on its property. The City is also authorized to enter and be upon the private property and rights-of-way of Union Pacific Railroad Company, for the purpose of enforcing criminal trespass statutes and/or ordinances, to remove, clean, and as necessary or appropriate, abate any unhoused individual's or group of individuals' encampments on the Company's property.
This authorization specifically extends to all persons on the tracks or otherwise on Union Pacific Railroad property, without authorization from the railroad, and including those persons crossing the tracks at locations other than streets or authorized pedestrian walkways.
Union Pacific reserves the right to revoke this authorization at any time upon notice to the City/County.
