vehicles available:

Successfully completed 7,980 Annual On-Call Cleanup
appointments in 2024– up 5% from previous year.
o Service advertised in all 4 quarterly residential newsletters and in our Residential Service Guide.

Compliance
SSF Scavenger assisted City staff with all things SB 1383:
o Providing green bins, slim-jims, kitchen pails, recycling tote bags, educational handouts, and technical assistance to businesses and multifamily residential properties as they add organics service. We are in the process of enrolling over 850 condo units in the Westborough and Stonegate areas in the Organics Program. o Conducting cart/bin reviews to assess quality of waste sorting.
Leaving instructional notices for poor sorting and “Thank You” notes for perfect sorting. Over 1,100 reviews conducted in 2024. o Including messages regarding the importance of waste
reduction, proper sorting, and overall SB 1383 compliance in our outreach.
