RE: South San Francisco Fiber Network Design – Budget Amendment Request 3 Dear Tony:
The City of South San Francisco began construction would like Kimley-Horn to provide additional Bidding and Construction phase of the South San Francisco Fiber Network Design project . This budget amendment request includes additional budget for Task 4 Design Support during Bidding and Construction for the following tasks:
Amended Scope:
1. Review the draft additional scope of work (PDF markups of K-H plans) for adding conduit and FO cable from Camaritas/Westborough TS to Antoinette/Chestnut TS and to the SSF PD server.
2. Review the draft additional scope of work (PDF markups of K-H plans) for adding conduit and FO cable from SSF Orange Memorial Park Pool to the SSF Corp Yard server.
3. Review the draft cost estimates.
4. Provide missing diagrams for splicing and termination of the new 48- and 12-strand SMFO cables at TS controller cabinets and at servers.
5. Provide a complete set of CCO drawings for each location to solicit a cost proposal from the current contractor (HP Communications, Inc.).
6. Draft and submit request for record drawings from SFPUC for their water lines along Orange Ave and along North Canal St.
7. Draft and submit a “Project Review Application” to SFPUC for the proposed utility work either within their Right-of-Way (RoW) or crossing their existing water transmission lines.
Coordinate Encroachment Permit prior to additional work.
8. Convert Contractor redline drawings (“as-built”) to conform set of plans
