SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONNAIRE
Why do you want to serve on the Youth Commission? Why do you believe the Youth Commission is important?
Why I want to serve on the Youth Commission and why I believe the Commission is important correlate with each other:

I want to serve on the Commission because I want to be involved in government in any way I can, and serving on the Commission could be a step in the right direction. I wish to be alert to everything that happens within local, state, and federal governments, for their decisions impact us all. Secondly, if there is to be any hope for the future, our present and youth must both be prepared and change for the better. I believe, without a shadow of a doubt, change and preparation can be accomplished with the support of the whole community and the efforts of the Youth Commission. This is why I hope to be part of this service; I want to help and learn, and I wish to start here and now.

Time Management
• This experience has given me the opportunity to strengthen important skills such as teamwork, cooperation, communication, and creativity. It is an opportunity I enjoy much because together we collectively tell a story; it is crafted and shared together, for all and many, and it ultimately reinforces our bond of community. • Thanks to the invaluable support of the dedicated staff at the Grand Library, I have managed and coordinated all aspects of the program.

This involves planning and designing storyline goals and overseeing the execution and guidance of such.
