Why are you interested in serving as a Boards and Commissions member? What do you feel you could contribute?
I've been a resident member at Housing Authority for over 20 plus years as a single parent raised two wonderful self-sufficient adults; my daughter works at Stanford Hospital.
I seen many positive changes taking place at Housing Authority, and would like to continue and be part of the growth by helping my community to be safe & security for everyone in our community. By, being active resident by ensuring a better and safety neighborhood for our seniors, children and our youth.
What qualifies you for this appointment?
I have been an active voice at Embassy by serving our community with Second Harvest Food Bank every 2nd of the month, at my church as well as to do fundraising for children to get school supplies for the begining of the school year. I like to make a difference for everyone to have access to having their needs met and helping to make a change in the way we see our selves, to take pride on what we do it matters. I also work as leader at the YMCA to build strong, independent young adults to feel confidentce in their work. As well as buling connection between preschoolers, schools and their families, their community around them because when we work together in harmony we can get things accomplished for a healthy relationship an be an example to the children.
What is your vision for growth in South San Francisco?
My vision is to be part of the changes and support Housing authority to expand Housing to those in need, including housing for teachers, veterans, seniors and youth at risk. Working with Board members and partnership with elected officials to improve my community and help my neighborhood in South San Francisco.

I have been involved with Embassy for over seven years volunteering at the Food Bank, I also volunteer at R.O.C.K Real Options for City Kids, services with helping out with thier homework, and participated in fields trips over the weekend.
