MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION
1. Motion to approve the Minutes for the meeting of February 20, 2025.
Motion – Councilmember Coleman/ Second Councilmember Nicolas: to approve the minutes. The motion carried unanimously.
2. Study session regarding the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year 2025- 2026 Annual Action Plan and Budget Allocation. (Alvina Condon, Management Analyst II) Management Analyst Condon reviewed the budget and funding recommendationsfor CDBG applicants.
Councilmember Coleman requested clarification surrounding the reduction in funding for Renaissance.
Management Analyst Condon and Director Selander provided clarification surrounding the recommended funding and reviewed the decision for recategorizing them from an economic development provider to a public service provider.
The standing committee expressed their support for the recommendation of funding.
Director Selander noted alternative funding sources will be explored in the event of any funding disruptions.
