Our
Commitment
We appreciate this
opportunity to highlight
current commitments and
activities within the City of
South San Francisco.

EV & RNG Equipment
Annual On-Call Cleanups
1383 Compliance
Supporting SSF
EV & RNG Equipment
As vehicles are retired or additional
vehicles are needed, we continue to
add the most environment-friendly and
efficient vehicles available.

Recent RNG Additions:
● 3 Front-load
● 2 Side-load with 3 more on order
● 1 Roll-off with 1 more on order
● 1 Rear-load on order
Anaerobic
Digestion
Our RNG collection vehicles are partially
powered by our food-to-fuel program—
transforming food scraps into
renewable fuel through anaerobic
digestion.

While electric vehicle (EV) technology
continues to advance, our fleet is
already carbon-negative, making RNG
the most efficient and sustainable
solution for our current operations.

To stay ahead of state mandates, we
have proactively electrified select routes
and services, including metal collection,
cart and bin delivery/exchange, and
outreach vehicles.
