RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 FEE SCHEDULE RELATED TO THE COMMERCIAL CANNABIS LOTTERY APPLICATION On June 21, 2022, the City Council of the City of Stockton adopted Resolution Number 2022-06-21-1601 adopting the 2022-23 Fee Schedule; and At the time of approval, there was not a fee included for the Commercial Cannabis Lottery Application processing; and Since the inception of the commercial cannabis lottery program, CDD receives an average of 964 applications annually; and This fee is intended to recover staff costs associated with reviewing these applications and confirming the completeness of the required information and qualifications; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council approves the amendment of Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23 Fee Schedule to create a new fee to file an application for the Commercial Cannabis Lottery program in the amount of $200, commencing on October 1, 2022, attached as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by reference.
Authorize the City Manager to take appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
