STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2022 WASTEWATER MASTER PLAN UPDATE FOR THE MUNICIPAL UTILITIES DEPARTMENT On June 9, 2020, a Professional Services Contract was awarded to West Yost Associates (West Yost) to update the existing Wastewater Master Plan, analyze the existing wastewater collection system, project capacity demand, and identify infrastructure needs based on the Envision Stockton 2040 General Plan; and West Yost has completed and submitted the Wastewater Master Plan Update and Appendices dated September 2022; attached as Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2; and In accordance with the Envision Stockton 2040 General Plan Update, the 2022 Wastewater Master Plan Update includes the recalibration of the City’s collection system hydraulic model, addresses potential impacts of near-term and long-term planned growth, and serves as a planning document for the City’s wastewater infrastructure requirements; and The 2022 Wastewater Master Plan Update identifies near-term and long-term Capital Improvement Program projects for wastewater infrastructure including collection system capacity improvements and condition-related improvement projects; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON AS FOLLOWS:
The 2022 Wastewater Master Plan Update conforms with the Envision Stockton 2040 General Plan Update.
The 2022 Wastewater Master Plan Update, dated September 2022, including appendices, is adopted, copies of which is attached as Exhibits 1 and 2 and are incorporated by reference.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED October 18, 2022 .
