STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A LEASE AMENDMENT WITH THE STOCKTON SAILING CLUB The property located at 4980 Buckley Cove Way is under the City’s stewardship, granted by the State Lands Commission (Chapter 1700, Statutes of 1965); and The current City lease for the property known locally as Stockton Sailing Club, will expire on June 30, 2038; and Stockton Sailing Club desires to extend the present lease, by an additional five (5) years, ending at midnight, June 30, 2043; and In addition to the extension, the Stockton Sailing Club will invest in the removal/replacement of a new dock, equal to or greater in size to a current dock, and will commit to host not less than six (6) community interactive events per year; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The City Manager, or designee, is hereby authorized to execute a Lease Amendment between the City of Stockton and the Stockton Sailing Club, attached as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager, or designee, is hereby authorized to take whatever actions are necessary and appropriate to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
