For these requisite services, Griffin Structures proposes the following Time & Materials Not to Exceed Fee:

Construction Management: $ 283,140

Total $ 413,000
All proposed hourly rates are fully burdened and include overhead, profit, taxes, and benefits. The hours identified for each individual employee and task are estimates only and are not to be construed as not to exceed hours for any individual task, phase, or time-period. We reserve the right to reallocate hours between staff members and tasks to accomplish the overall objectives and requirements of the project.

Services are based on the attached Fee Schedule, Resource Allocation Schedule, which provides detail on the allocation of hours. Any extension of the schedule or services may result in additional fee, in good faith negotiation with the City.

APPROACH TO FEE AND PROJECT SCHEDULE

1. This Add Service Request represents costs associated additional Construction Management due to Construction delays for the project. As illustrated in the attached Burn Rate Analysis, this project assumed a substantial completion date of July 2022, with 1 month of closeout in August. Presently, the substantial completion date is anticipated to be July of 2023. Amendment 2 included costs through November, and partially through December of 2022. This ASR represents cost to carry services through July 2023, and Project Closeout in August 2023. Should the Contractor achieve substantial completion earlier than anticipated, any unused funds will be returned to the City.

2. Additionally, at the request of the City, this ASR also includes costs for additional field inspections to ensure Quality Assurance. Based on those conversations, this ASR represents costs for part time (20 hours per week) inspection services. As with the request for additional Construction Management services above, should the Contractor achieve substantial completion prior to July, 2023, any unused funds will be returned to the City.

3. Note: this ASR does not include any additional Special Inspections and testing. Specifically, any additional inspection services related to observing and monitoring the foundations and building slab will be addressed in a subsequent ASR.
