STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $52,250 WITH LUDORFF & SCALMANINI CONSULTING ENGINEERS FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES AT WATER WELL NO. 33 (PROJECT NO. UH22005) On December 9, 2021, the City Clerk of the City of Stockton received sealed proposals for the Implementation of a Comprehensive Well Evaluation at Water Well No. 33, (Project No. UH22005); and
Two submitted proposals were evaluated. Luhdorff & Scalmanini Consulting Engineers was found to be the most qualified proponent; and On May 13, 2022, the City entered into a professional service contract with Luhdorff & Scalmanini Consulting Engineers in the amount of $65,640, (Contract No. 422000713); and This contract amount was under $100,000 and therefore, within City Manager’s delegated authority allowed by Council Resolution #11-0298; and After initial work began, it was determined that the well was not constructed as shown on previous design drawings, which resulted in a differing site condition and a contract amendment was needed; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
Contract Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $52,250 to Luhdorff & Scalmanini Consulting Engineers for the implementation of Comprehensive Well Evaluation at Water Well No. 33, Project No. UH22005, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute same, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by this reference. //

The City Manager or designee is hereby authorized to take appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
