STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PUMP REPAIR SERVICE COMPANY TO REPLACE WELL 30 PUMP WORKS The City owns and maintains wells throughout the City of Stockton to ensure adequate and reliable drinking water supply and maintain pressure in the system; and A 2,200 gallon per minute pump fitted with a 200-HP motor is needed to fully utilize Well 30; and Staff recommends the lowest bid from Pump Repair Service Company in the amount Not-to-Exceed of $340,400; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
Professional Services Agreement in the Not-to-Exceed amount of $340,400 to Pump Repair Service Company to provide and install a submersible pump and motor for Well 30, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute same, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager or designee is hereby authorized to take appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
