STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDA OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF STOCKTON AND THE OPERATING ENGINEERS’ LOCAL 3 (OE3) TO INCLUDE THE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE (O&M) UNIT, AND THE TRADES AND MAINTENANCE (T&M) UNIT The Human Resources Department along with the negotiating team, met and conferred with officials of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Trades and Maintenance (T&M) units and reached a tentative agreement for a successor Memoranda of Understanding, and reduced the agreement to writing. On March 20, 2024, the City reached a tentative agreement on successor MOUs with O&M and T&M. The O&M and T&M units ratified the agreement on March 28, 2024 by a majority vote of their members; and The City of Stockton, and the O&M and T&M units completed their meet and confer obligation regarding their successor Memoranda of Understanding; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The Memoranda of Understanding between the City of Stockton, the O&M, and T&M is attached hereto as Exhibits 1 and 2 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Memoranda of Understanding to be effective July 1, 2023.
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to increase expenditure appropriations in the annual budget for Fiscal Year 2023-2024, as necessary to carry out the intent of the O&M and T&M agreements, as shown in Exhibit 3. //

The City Manager and the Employee Relations Officer are authorized to take whatever actions are appropriate and necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this resolution.
