STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MODIFICATION TO THE UNREPRESENTED MANAGEMENT / CONFIDENTIAL AND LAW EMPLOYEES’ COMPENSATION PLAN TO ADD A RETIREE MEDICAL TRUST FOR UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES PROMOTED FROM THE STOCKTON FIRE MANAGEMENT UNIT The Human Resources Department met with representatives of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) and agreed to take forward changes to the Unrepresented Management/Confidential and Law Employees’ Compensation Plan to include a Retiree Medical Trust for Unrepresented Employees promoted from the Stockton Fire Management Unit; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The Unrepresented Management/Confidential and Law Employees’ Compensation Plan is attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Unrepresented Compensation Plan to be effective July 1, 2023.
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Joinder Agreement with IAFF Local 456, attached hereto as Exhibit 2 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager is authorized to take whatever actions are appropriate and necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this resolution.
