STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION APPOINTING KATHERINE ROLAND AS INTERIM CITY CLERK FOR THE CITY OF STOCKTON AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT The City is in the process of recruiting a full-time replacement for its City Clerk and requires the services of an Interim City Clerk; and The Interim City Clerk is an at-will position and must demonstrate the necessary and specialized experience, skills, and expertise required to serve as the City’s Interim Clerk; and The City Council desires to appoint Katherine Roland to the position of Interim City Clerk subject to the terms and conditions of an Employment Contract; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The appointment of Katherine Roland to serve as Interim City Clerk for the City of Stockton is hereby confirmed.
The Mayor is authorized, on behalf of the Council, to execute the attached employment contract with Katherin Roland, marked as Exhibit 1, setting forth the terms and conditions of employment effective May 21, 2024.
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to take whatever actions are necessary and appropriate to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
