STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO CREATE A NEW UNCLASSIFIED/REPRESENTED EVENTS CLASS SPECIFICATION FAMILY FOR THE STOCKTON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT AND APPROVE THE PROPOSED SALARY RANGES It is necessary to establish the new classification of Events Technician I, Event Technician II, Events Coordinator, and Events Manager to provide overall management of specialized and intricate functions specific to the Economic Development department operations; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The new unclassified/represented class specifications of Events Technician I/II, Events Coordinator, and Events Manager are hereby created with the salary approved as follows:

2. The Director of Human Resources is hereby directed to prepare the appropriate class specifications in accordance with section 2.36.080 of the Stockton Municipal Code.
3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to take whatever actions are necessary and appropriate to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED June 18, 2024 .
