STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE HACH COMPANY FOR UTILITY INSTRUMENTATION SERVICES The Municipal Utilities Department (MUD) Laboratory, Water, and Wastewater Treatment Facilities rely on a comprehensive service contract for instrumentation services to ensure compliance with regulatory standards; and To maintain regulatory permit obligations, instrumentation equipment must have regular quarterly calibrations; and Instrument services include a wide variety of analytical checks, repairs, and instrument calibration of water quality analyzers for wastewater and water; and The bid submitted by the Hach Company of Loveland, CO, for instrument calibration services is regular and responsive in all aspects; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The professional services agreement for instrumentation services, in the not-to-exceed amount of $683,935.80, between the City of Stockton and the Hach Company is hereby awarded, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the same, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager is hereby authorized to take whatever actions are necessary and appropriate to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
