STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING VOTING DELEGATES FOR THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE TO BE HELD OCTOBER 16-18, 2024, IN LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA The League of California Cities will host their Annual Conference October 16-18, 2024, in Long Beach, California, at the Long Beach Convention Center; and The League of California Cities bylaws require that each voting member City, by Council action, designate one voting member and at least one alternate; and The City of Stockton Council Policy 2.05 states that the Mayor shall present for Council consideration a Resolution designating the Voting Delegate and Alternate; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor hereby appoints Councilmember Dan Wright to serve as the City’s Voting Delegate.
Vice Mayor Kimberly Warmsley to serve as the Alternate.
Authorizes the City Clerk to submit the League of California Cities 2024 Voting Delegate Form on behalf of the City.
Authorizes the City Manager to take all necessary and appropriate actions to carry out the intent of this resolution.
