STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDING AND APPROVING CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER NO. 5 FOR THE NORTHEAST STOCKTON LIBRARY AND COMMUNITY CENTER, PROJECT NO. CL17024 On December 15, 2020, by Resolution No. 2020-12-15-1404, Council awarded a Construction Contract, in the amount of $14,450,556.00, to Patriot Contracting, Inc. of Gardena, CA, for construction of the Northeast Stockton Library and Community Center, Project No. CL17024 (formerly PW1724); and Construction Contract Change Order (CCO) Nos. 1-4, in the total amount of $405,035.67, were approved by the City Manager under the administrative change order authority allowed under the original contract; and Appropriation of funding is needed to fund all other construction related costs to complete the project; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council approves the appropriation of funds in the amount of $13,500,000.00 from the Measure M Strong Communities Fund Balance to the Northeast Stockton Library and Community Center, Project No. CL17024.
The City Council authorizes Construction CCO No. 5 in the amount of $9,717,288.14 with Patriot Contracting, Inc., Resumption Agreement, for the construction of the Northeast Stockton Library and Community Center, Project No. CL17024, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager is hereby authorized to take whatever actions are necessary and appropriate to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
