STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF INDUSTRIAL WASTE COLLECTOR PERMITS Stockton Municipal Code Sections 8.04.290 and 8.04.300 provide that an industrial waste collector must have a permit to conduct business; and Such permit is to be issued upon a majority vote of the City Council; and In August 2024, Sunrise Sanitation, Inc. (Republic Services), USA Waste of California, Inc. (WM, formerly Waste Management), and California Waste Recovery Systems, LLC (Cal-Waste) each paid a fee of $100,000 for the issuance of a permit for the collection of industrial waste; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council hereby issues industrial waste collector permits, copies of which are attached as Exhibits 1, 2, and 3 and incorporated by this reference to:
California Waste Recovery Systems, LLC (Cal-Waste)
Sunrise Sanitation, Inc. (Republic Services)
USA Waste of California, Inc. (WM, formerly Waste Management) The City Manager is hereby authorized to take whatever actions are necessary and appropriate to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
