RESOLUTION TO CREATE A NEW UNCLASSIFIED/REPRESENTED CLASS SPECIFICATION QUALITY ASSURANCE-QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER FOR THE MUNICIPAL UTILITIES DEPARTMENT AND APPROVE THE PROPOSED SALARY RANGE It is necessary to establish a new classification of Quality Assurance-Quality Control (QA/QC) Officer to provide oversight of the Municipal Utilities Department’s laboratory adherence to the new standards adopted by the State Water Resources Control Board; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The new unclassified/represented class specification of QA/QC Officer is hereby created with the salary approved as follows:

2. The Director of Human Resources is hereby directed to prepare the appropriate class specification in accordance with Section 2.36.080 of the Stockton Municipal Code.
3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to take whatever actions are necessary and appropriate to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
