Eve
n,
As d
iscussed, we are
providing thi
s proposal for ex
tended construction administration to
complete this project.
2024 Cons
truction Administration Extension
In o
rder to resume construction activities, we will need to resume our construction administration efforts. We have assumed worst
case scenario with a continuation of the level of service required before the stop work order. As such we have included ad
ditional hours to cover the scope over what we would consider standard of care for construction administration. A summary of the
se additional tasks is:

1. Mu
ltiple responses to the same RFI.

2. Add
itional Submittal reviews due to lack of completion, multiple revise and resubmits, submitted out of sequence items, ch
ange in subcontractors, Changes in previously reviewed products, etc .

3. Add
itional meeting time with both Owner and Contractor. Lengthier OAC meetings, mu ltiple calls with Owner an
d/or CM
pe
r day to address issues, research concerns and provide coordination and responses, ad ditional field time.

4. Coord
ination on inc
reasing qu
antity of is
sues in field, multiplying in both complexity and severity.

5. Add
itional field visits requests: (2) a
dditional fie
ld observations, outside of the
OAC arc
hitectural team will be on site
twic
e monthly, once for the OAC and one (1) additional trip a week later, i n addition to this (1
) punch list visit is included
in
this proposal. (1) en
gineering discipline is included in each of the (2) fi
eld observations En
gineering disciplines will be
sc
heduled during the above field visits as requested but not to exceed once a mo nth.

6. The
delay due to the stop work may le
ad to specified items bein
g ob
solete, which will require research for replacement
or re
view of substitution requests or b
oth. T
his will mainly be in regards to FF&E items and finishes but could extend to an
y system equipment.

7. Muc
h of th
e site will have lost compaction and need to be reworked and the weed growth dealt with. The civil en
gineer will have to collaborate with the Owner’s consultant Kleinfelder for this rework.

8. Add
itional scope from the vandalism and subsequent fire will require review and ap proval of remediation work
ma
terials, details, submittals and LEED documentation th
at the Contractor will pro
pose and perform. We
will review
co
mpliance of this work to the contract documents only.

9. The
duration for which the work stayed exposed as well as a change in subcontractors has resulted in som
e additional detailing and consulting. These changes may ultimately result in a need for updated drawing
s, resubmittals and/or LEED changes wit
h the
contractor’s c
onsultant.

The
efforts above are calculated at our 20
24 bi
lling rate; billing rate schedule is attached as
Exhibit A.

Exh
ibit B for scope and fee breakdowns are attached for your review.
