Coming from a farming background and having observed the water crisis in regions like Punjab, India, I am passionate about addressing the ongoing challenges related to water supply, agriculture needs and environmental concerns.

Having witnessed the water crisis in Punjab, India, where groundwater depletion, pollution, and climate change are escalating, I recognize the need for a more integrated approach to water management in Stockton’s Delta. Both regions face similar challenges, including water scarcity, inadequate infrastructure, and the pressures of climate change, which threaten agricultural productivity and the long-term sustainability of water resources.
