STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBERS TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE AND RATIFYING THE VACATED DISTRICT 2 POSITION Appointments to the Community Development Committee are made by each of the six Councilmembers and Mayor; and The Community Development Committee District 2 position is in violation of the attendance policy as stated in Council Policy 3.03.010; and Resignations received from seated members for Districts 3, 6, and At Large created vacancies for District 3, 6, and At Large appointments; and Councilmember Blower, Vice Mayor Lee, and Mayor Fugazi have reviewed applications and made nominations for appointment; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The District 2 position has been vacated; and
Matthew Wood is found to meet the criteria for appointment and is authorized to serve as a member representing District 3 on the Community Development Committee with and appointment to commence immediately and end January 31, 2027; and Anitra Williams is found to meet the criteria for appointment and is authorized to serve as a member representing District 6 on the Community Development Committee with an appointment to commence immediately and end January 31, 2029; and //

Christopher Bright-Cannon is found to meet the criteria for appointment and is authorized to serve as a member representing At Large on the Community Development Committee with an appointment to commence immediately and end January 31, 2029 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED January 21, 2025 .
