SPD News: Smoke Shop Enforcement
On February 11, 2025, the Stockton Police Department, in collaboration with the California Department of Justice (CA DOJ) and the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA), hosted an illegal tobacco enforcement training. SPD personnel and officers from other law enforcement agencies attended.
As part of the training, inspections were conducted at local tobacco-related businesses, which resulted in the confiscation of illegal tobacco products and the issuance of three citations.
The Stockton Police Department remains committed to enforcing tobacco laws and ensuring compliance to protect public health and safety.
