STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER NO.1 FOR $314,050.00 WITH SILVA LANDSCAPE FOR STORMWATER DRAINAGE BASIN MAINTENANCE The City currently contracts with Silva Landscape for the maintenance of ten storm drainage detention basins at various locations throughout Stockton (Agreement Number 423000298); and In addition to providing flood control, these basins also function as stormwater quality treatment devices required by the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit; and Extending contracted services improves water quality, provides effective flood control, and protects properties within these communities. Maintenance activities include trash removal, mowing, weed abatement, and repairs to irrigation systems, channels, flumes, as necessary to improve water quality and comply with regulatory requirements; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
Contract Change Order No. 1 for additional funds of $314,050.00 with Silva Landscape, the total not-to-exceed amount of $765,850 is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute same, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager or designee is hereby authorized to take appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
