STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A REVISED CITY COUNCIL POLICY MANUAL CHAPTER 3.04, MEMBER REMOVAL FROM BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND COMMISSIONS Chapter 3.04 of the Council Policy Manual addresses the removal of members from boards, committees, and commissions; and On April 15, 2025, the Legislation/Environmental Committee reviewed and discussed revisions to the policy providing staff with direction; and On May 27, 2025, the Legislation/Environmental Committee discussed the proposed changes and provided further direction; and The Legislation and Environmental Committee voted on July 28, 2025, to approve forwarding a recommendation to Council to adopt the proposed City Council Policy Manual Chapter 3.04 – Member Removal from Boards, Committees, and Commissions; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
City Council approves and adopts City Council Policy 3.04 entitled “Member Removal from Boards, Committees, and Commissions, attached hereto as “Exhibit 1.” The City Clerk is hereby authorized to take appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
