STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF STOCKTON 2025-2031 SEWER SYSTEM MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATES The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) requires public utilities that provide sanitary sewer collection services to implement a Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP); and On December 6, 2022, the SWRCB adopted Order No. 2022-0103-DWQ, mandating additional SSMP requirements for specifications, notification, monitoring, reporting, and record retention; and SWRCB Order No. 2022-0103-DWQ also requires that the City Council approve the SSMP whenever significant updates are made to the plan; and Once approved, the document is published on the City website and made available upon request; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council approves the City of Stockon 2025-2031 Sewer System Management Plan, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager is hereby authorized to take appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
