STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A REVISED CITY COUNCIL POLICY CHAPTER 3.06, SECTION 3.06.010(4)(C), RELATING TO AD HOC COMMITTEES Chapter 3.06, Section 3.06.010(4)(C), of the Council Policy Manual addresses the creation of Ad Hoc Committees; and On August 25, 2025, the Council Legislation/Environmental Committee reviewed and discussed revisions to Council Policy 3.06, section 3.06.010(4)(C)- Ad Hoc Committees; and Staff was directed to revise Section 3.06.010(4)(C) regarding Ad Hoc Committees to include a majority vote for creation of Ad Hoc Committees, criteria for appointment of members, and clear dissolution rules; and On September 15, 2025, the Council Legislation/Environmental Committee discussed the proposed changes to Section 3.06.010(4)(C) of the Council Policy Manual and recommended changes be forwarded to Council; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council approves the revisions to City Council Policy 3.06.010(4)(C) entitled “Ad Hoc Committees” attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager is hereby authorized to take appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
