STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS TO FOR THE VACANT COMMERCIAL PROPERTY AND VACANT LOT REGISTRATION PROGRAM On July 29, 2025, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2025-07-29-1602 and Resolution No. 2025-07-29-1602 which collectively established the Vacant Commercial Property and Vacant Lot Registration program, including associated fees; and Necessary start-up costs to establish the program include acquisition and configuration of specialized software for program management and mailing costs to cover the first year of the program; and Appropriation of funds is needed in the amount of $21,000; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council authorizes a budget amendment to appropriate $21,000 from the General Fund Contingency to the Police Department’s Neighborhood Services Division for program implementation.
The City Manager is authorized to take whatever actions are necessary and appropriate to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
