My family is originally from Escalon. Growing up, three of my aunts and their families lived in Stockton. We visited often and I have very fond memories. I attended the University of the Pacific, earning a business administration degree before attending McGeorge School of Law.
I have spent my career working in public. policy or for/with non-profit entities. I have lived in Stockton since 2016. I have worked with Dan Cort when he was alive and working on improving downtown. I have also donated time to the Downtown Stockton Alliance, STAND Affordable Housing, and the Humphrey Drivon School of Law Small Claims Clinic I have served on the boards of The Write Place, HATCH Workshop, and Stocktonia News Service. I have provided reduced-fee services to the Central Valley Asian Chamber of Commerce and the Yosemite Village Neighborhood Association. I believe that communities only thrive when local residents get involved and work to make the place the best it can be. I am a graduate of Leadership Stockton, class of 2019.

I moved back here in 2016, after having purchased an older home that I restored. Stockton's neighborhoods and its downtown has a lot of potential. I have a background in law, local and state government, non-profit management, and experience with community development, economic development, and neighborhood revitalization. My experience and interest will enable me to be a thoughtful and fair representative on the Planning Commission.

How did you hear about the position?
I spoke with the district's newly elected council member shortly after the election and expressed an interest. I was informed that he had already appointed someone. He reached out the other day to let me know that his original appointee needs to step down and asked me if I was still interested. I assured him I am.
