STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A REVISED CITY COUNCIL POLICY CHAPTER 3.02, CITY COUNCIL AND MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS TO COMMITTEES, BOARDS, AND COMMISSIONS Chapter 3.02, the Council Policy Manual addresses the rules and procedures regarding City Council and Mayoral appointments to Committees, Boards, and Commissions; and The Mayor agendized for Council consideration amendments to Council Policy 3.02 to improve efficiency in the appointment process by removing the interview requirement and ranked voting; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council approves the revisions to City Council Policy 3.02 entitled “CITY COUNCIL AND MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS TO COMMITTEES, BOARDS, AND COMMISSIONS” attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and incorporated by this reference.
The City Manager is hereby authorized to take appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
